 In the Know

Youth Plan Mission With SPIN

In February, our youth are planning a trip with SPIN (Serving People In Need) to deliver hygiene kits and Valentine cookies to the homeless who gather in the public parks of Santa Ana. They are asking the congregation for donations of toothbrushes, floss, deoderant, combs, and razors, as well as travel size soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste. They also need 200 cookies. Stay tuned for information on where to drop off these items during the month of January. Thanks!

Winter Camp Gear

Just a reminder that the church has a couple of tubs full of winter outerwear, including ski jackets, gloves, hats, and boots. If you would like to borrow something, contact Barb Infranca.

See a Problem on Campus? Let Us Know!

Does a faucet fail to shut off? Does a door stick or refuse to lock? Is there a stain on one of the carpets? Are light bulbs burned out? Trustees are responsible for campus maintenance, but they don't always see the problem. And catching them on patio after service or at the grocery store not mean they will remember to follow up later. Jot it down on a piece of paper and stick it in the mailbox labeled Trustees in the fellowship hall. The sooner we resolve problems, the less it costs in the long run. Thank  you!

Adult Work Team Options

As a result of one of our Dreaming Sunday discussions, we decided we wanted to be more involved in our community.  There was a brochure that was distributed at the June 26 worship services. You can get a pdf version of it here.
