THE EDUCATION COMMISSION REPORT

The Education Commission has been very busy this past year. It is our job to assist with the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School efforts in our church. We're a sounding board as well as an idea- generating group.

Over the past year we have reorganized a bit. JoAnne Jennings and Jean Paisner have volunteered to help each Sunday to make sure the Sunday School teachers have everything they need for their classes. In addition, they have organized teacher training sessions to introduce new materials and exchange ideas. Carolyn Breihan has been a huge help with the teacher training.

We also coordinate with Pastor Mark and Pastor Joe to promote Christian Education. We are now back in the routine of having the children in church for part of the Sunday School hour. In addition, we work together to come up with strategies for increasing the number of children in our classes.
