MUSIC COMMITTEE NEWS

The Music Committee is made up of interested MVUMC members who lend their support to our Music Ministry by helping to plan events, host receptions after concerts, provide brunch for the choirs between services on Festival of Choirs Sunday, and assist in fundraising efforts when needed. This year the Music Committee is expanding its role to include recruiting stage-hands and ushers, and making costumes for the “Sounds of Broadway.”

Our church is so fortunate to have an outstanding Music Ministry. We have a hard working and talented staff that includes Eliza, Katie, and Cara. We also have two adult vocal choirs, an adult hand bell choir, our children's choirs, and a youth chime choir.

Members and friends of MVUMC who are not on the committee, but who would like to help support the Music Ministry can sign up to bring food gifts or props for special events such as “Sounds of Broadway”.
