Dear Mesa Verde UMC Family,
We are into week here at Valencia, and we are still getting settled in. We turn on the heater in the morning, the A.C. in the day, then the heater again in the evening. For this and so much more, we truly miss O.C.
But eough about the weather... We wanted to drop a note to thank you again for such a loving and throughful farewell. We have the crayon melt hung inour living room where you can see it as you walk in, and the Methodist cross hung in Joe's office. So whether at work or rest, we are always thinking of you and continue to pray for you.
Please know you all are so very missed!

Please note: From June 30 through Labor Day, we will be having only ONE worship service. It will start at 9:30 a.m. Daycare will be available, and Sunday School will run during this service.
In conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank of O.C., we participate in the Brown Bag Program for low income senior citizens. We provide at least two bags of groceries to qualified participants. The doors to the Fellowship Hall are open from 1-3 pm every other Friday. If you would like to help, contact Shannon Cavanaugh.
Hospitality Kitchen: We go with a hot meal to serve 100-150 homeless and needy people the first Wednesday of every month. If you would like to help serve or bake a casserole or a cake for this cause, please see Lilian Johnson or contact the church office. |
