“STUMP MARK” RETURNS
Sundays, August 10, 17, 24
4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
For the past three summers, Pastor Mark has sponsored Question and Answer sessions in August. The sessions have no structure, no agenda, no homework, no curriculum. Everything is determined by your questions.
Bring your questions about God, politics, ethics, faith, sex, the Bible or anything else. This is a wide-open discussion shaped by your questions. (You can even write them anonymously if you would prefer.)
Actually, Stump Mark is part of a 25-year tradition going back to summer elementary camps. The first year Mark and Jan revived elementary camp, the guest scholar was John Holbert, a professor of Old Testament and Preaching. He started the open question time with the kids. The next year, when he wasn't available, Pastor Mark was drafted. The tradition has continued.
